As the season enters into fall and winter, changes in temperature and barometric pressure create imbalances in our body physiology. These imbalances can compromise our immune system and may often prevent our body system’s ability to adjust to these changes, leaving us vulnerable to colds & flu. Acupuncture can help improve the blood circulation in the body, improving the delivery and production of white blood cells. This increase in circulation can help support the immune system. Our schedules are often very busy during this time but even a couple of Acupuncture treatments in the beginning of the “cold season” can help prevent colds and flu.
