About Heather Osler
DHMHS, HD

Heather Osler, DHMHS, HD, received her first diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy. She went on to graduate with honours from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM) that currently provides the highest level of homeopathic education available in Ontario.

Heather teaches at OCHM where she is also the Director of Homeopathic Drug Trials. In addition, she runs a private practice in Toronto, and is the owner of the Bloor West Homeopathic and Wellness Clinic. She is also a registered member of the Ontario Homeopathic Association (OHA).

Combining her sharp intellect with a passion for healing, Heather brings a personal yet professional tone to the consultation.

She has had great success treating diseases of the mind such as depression and ADHD, as well as serious physical pathology such as cancer and asthma.

Heather has worked extensively with children and has given several lectures on pregnancy and labour. She offers workshops on pregnancy, first aid and cold and flu home care.

About Violetta Ilkiw
BA, DHMHS, HD

Violetta Ilkiw, BA, DHMHS, HD, graduated with honours and awards in homeopathy and the medical health sciences from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM).

Violetta is faculty at OCHM, where she also runs the Homeopathic Drug Trials. In addition, she is the Co-ordinator of Distance Education at OCHM. She is a Board Member of the Ontario Homeopathic Association, and has played a leadership role in advocating for the regulation of homeopathy in Ontario.

Violetta has held a lifelong passion and interest in the power of holistic and natural approaches to health and healing. As well, she has a background in adult education and social policy and research, with a focus on community health and youth development issues. She believes community health and individual health are integrally connected. As individuals become empowered and are able to increase their own health and wellbeing, we will see a shift in the overall health of our society.

Violetta is able to bring her past experiences together in her homeopathic practice to provide a deep and thorough consultation. She has successfully treated a variety of conditions that include both psychological and physical pathology, such as depression, anxiety, women’s conditions, skin conditions and chronic conditions.

She has worked extensively with children, youth, adults and the elderly. She offers workshops and lectures on natural ways to maintain health, first aid, cold and flu homecare, and lifestyle changes for long-term health and healing.

About Wendy Herod
Bkin, DHMHS, HD

Wendy has always been drawn to health field. However, it wasn’t until her 4th year at McMaster University where she became more aware of complementary medicine and a new world was opened up to her. After receiving her Bachelor of Kinesiology, Wendy moved to Australia where she completed her Diploma of Massage Therapy. Upon returning to Canada she knew that she wanted to study more. “I enjoyed working with the physical body but I wanted a system of medicine that could heal on a deeper level and I knew homeopathy would be the next step in my path.”

She completed an intensive 3 year program at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto and has been practicing the art and science of homeopathy in Toronto ever since. She is the proud mother of a 3 year old daughter, Jayden Skye, and it was through her own experience with homeopathy during her pregnancy that has led her to have a special interest in maternity and young families.

In addition to her practice, Wendy has taught Anatomy and Patho-physiology at the Kikkawa Massage Therapy College in Toronto. Currently she is a faculty member at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine and a member of the Ontario Homeopathic Association. She leads lectures and workshops throughout the community on many family related topics such as First Aid with Homeopathy, Teething, Remedies for Child Birth, etc.
