Janusz Wawro

Janusz has over 20 years of experience in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation. He holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from his native Poland and started his career as a teacher and volleyball coach. In 1997, he graduated from Sutherland–Chan Massage Therapy School in Toronto, went on to complete a five year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2007, and continues his education through postgraduate courses.

In his practice, Janusz works with people of all ages and backgrounds, from the Olympic athletes to car accident victims or anyone looking for help with recent injuries, chronic conditions or any other health concerns.

Janusz’s treatments are guided by the osteopathic principle that all body parts are interconnected and work together, hence the body should be treated as a whole. Such approach helps to find the root cause of a dysfunction and address it with lasting improvement. Janusz uses his expertise in Manual Osteopathy, Rehabilitative Massage and Corrective Exercise Therapy to create a comprehensive and effective treatment for a variety of ailments that go beyond musculoskeletal problems, such as Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Vertigo. Janusz’s main clinical focus is the treatment of complex and long standing conditions, chronic pain management and more recently, post-concussion syndrome.
