What is Manual Osteopathy?
Manual Osteopathy is a non-invasive “hands on” therapy based on the philosophy of treating the body as a whole.
Osteopathic assessment and treatment focus on identifying and removing restrictions within the body structures – joints, muscles, connective tissue, internal organs, etc.
Treatments aim to restore balance and proper function of different body systems, to liberate circulation of the fluids (blood, lymph, etc) and to improve nerve conduction and energy flow. It addresses the root cause of dysfunction, while at the same time providing effective relief from pain and quick recovery.
Manual Osteopathy treatments enhance the optimal function of the entire organism, preventing recurrence of problems and improving the quality of everyday life.
Manual Osteopathy may be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other modalities, such as chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and homeopathy.
